Shadrack holds a bachelors degree from Kenyatta University, which majored on Environmental Science with a focus on Resource Conservation. He is interested in working in the environmental field and community development. He won the 2014 popular choice award winner in the Waste Management contest. He is a graduate fellow at the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) regional Leadership center East Africa, on the public management track, which was launched by President of the United States Barack Obama as a signature effort to invest in the next generation of African leaders.
Previously, He interned with the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) working on Compliance and Enforcement of Environmental regulation. He also works with a nonprofit Youth led Environmental NGO as a Regional Director-Africa at the Green the Gene organization. http://www.greenthegene.org/
