I love the idea of building the climate movement in Latin America countries. My concern is that the scale of impact described does not match the budget or logistics outlined. Is it possible to achieve similar goals by working directly with existing international policy advocacy orgs, such as 350.org?

This also reminds me of GreenCorps, which is an environmental campaign training organization in the U.S. that trains young people on how to wage effective environmental campaigns. It is very successful and many of the leaders of nonprofits in the U.S. were trained by Greencorps. Seeing something like that happen in Latin America could be transformative for those countries and really help build environmental leadership and scale the pace of change needed to protect those communities in the future. I wish this proposal was fleshed out a little more, but I think the idea is solid and if executed similar to Greencorps training model, this could have huge impacts throughout Latin America.

Training and supporting future environmental community leaders in Latin America. Good idea and I wish you all the luck in the world. However, your proposal is incomplete; literally missing answers to some of the important questions. I recommend you develop this proposal further. Test some of your assumptions and document what you learn. Solicit feedback and ideas from friends and colleagues who would have suggestions -- and come back next year!

The proposal is the start of a promising idea to run leadership trainings and build campaigns, however, it is lacking information on costs, timeline, and benefits.

Missing some key sections (cost? timeline?); these sections must be submitted in order for us to be comfortable advancing this further
