There have been successful examples of online and hard copy 'green pages' in many places and this proposal puts forward a solid plan for creating a similar one for Detroit. The challenge not addressed in the proposal is how it reaches people who are not already the kind of people looking for green services - how does it get beyond its niche and make a mainstream change?

Great project idea for a city that could really benefit from such a system. With other examples of this kind of system in place in other cities, regions and countries, it would be great to include some analysis of how they have succeeded, key learnings and how these can be applied to this project for a best in sector approach. While volunteers would be great to use and make this project very low cost, a coordinator that can oversee and drive the project might be a more effective (both in time and cost) way to deliver the greatest possible benefits for Detroit and those participating in the project. Very good initiative that could provide some significant benefits for Detroit for participating venues and projects across water, energy and reducing emissions.
