I am a scientific assistant at the working group “Urban Climate and Health” at the Institute for Meteorology at Freie Universitaet Berlin. My focus is on urban climate modeling and statistics. I have a Master in meteorology from Freie Universitaet Berlin, my thesis dealt with mitigation strategies for the urban heat island in Berlin. My current project deals with sustainable urban development of New Towns in Egypt regarding local climate change.
