Hongxia Wang is a Ph.D. candidate in management science and engineering at the School of Economics and Management, Beihang University, China. She holds both M.A. and B.A. both in economics from Beihang University. She was awarded the National Scholarship from the China Scholarship Council and has been is a visiting scholar at the School of Natural Resources and Environment, University of Michigan during 2015-2016(for one year). Her Ph.D. research was supported by the China Scholarship Council program and the National Nature Science Foundation of China. Her research focuses on evaluating the effectiveness of resources and environment policies using input-output model and Aagent-based modelling. She has published her research in journals such as Environmental Science & Technology, Resources, Conservation and Recycling, Energy Policy, and in proceedings of International Conference on Industrial Management.
