Zhu Liu is the Giorgio Ruffolo Research Fellow in the Sustainability Science Program and the Energy Technology Innovation Policy project, a joint project of the Science Technology and Public Policy Program and the Environment and Natural Resources Program at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs of Harvard Kennedy School.
His research focuses on global sustainability and the assessment of the human impacts on the earth system in terms of greenhouse gas emissions. He hold Ph.D. in Ecology from the Chinese Academy of Sciences (2013) with joint training by University of Cambridge (2012). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from Northwest University (2007) and a Master’s degree in Ecology from China Agricultural University (2009).
Zhu have authored about 40 academic publications in Nature, Nature Climate Change, PNAS and other professional journals(See Google citation page). Zhu’sresearch has also been covered by 300+ international media outlets including byNature, Science, New York Times, BBC, and CNN, and has been cited by policy stakeholders as scientific basis for environmental policies.
