Eric Rolfson is President of the Rolfson Group, Inc., an institutional advancement-consulting firm. Prior to founding the Rolfson Group, Eric spent more than 30 years raising money for educational institutions and has held leadership positions in $10 million, $35 million and $150 million comprehensive fundraising campaigns at Thomas College, Colby College and the University of Maine.
He also has advised many not-for-profits about their development initiatives and established institutional advancement programs where none previously existed.
Prior to his career in fundraising, Eric taught English, French and American Studies at the secondary and college levels for nine years, both in the United States and abroad.
Additionally, Eric was co-founder and President of Toast Technologies Inc., a Massachusetts-based information technology company with expertise in network infrastructure consulting.
An avid musician, Rolfson travels regularly with the traditional music band Old Grey Goose International representing the United States on musical and cultural exchanges, primarily in third world and former Soviet-Union countries. Trips over the past eight years include tours in Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Algeria, Cuba, Benin, Mauritania, Israel, Jordan, Poland, Mongolia and Ukraine.
In his spare time, Eric runs a family maple syrup operation and maintains trails on 125 acres in rural Maine.
