I am a retired Professor of English at North Shore Community College and a member of the Unitrian-Universalist Church of Medford. I have always been deeply concerned with the issue of climate change, was married to David Jhirad (now deceased) a former member of UCS, as well as the U.S. Energy Department, and someone consistently concerned about climate change for many years.

I have children and grandchildren, and see their world about to be destroyed. Action is needed. I am also a member of Harvard Radcliffe Alumni/ae for Divestment from fossil fuels.
