In 1997 Mr became a founding Principal of Sound Geothermal Corporation. He currently serves as SGT's President and CEO. SGT is a design engineering firm, manufacturer's representative, and distributor for ground source heat pump (GSHP) equipment and accessories. SGT is a pioneer in development of hybrid GeoExchange systems and community hybrid systems. SGT specializes in energy efficient building systems and waste energy recovery (WER). Their projects include HUD housing, municipal and industrial facilities, schools, and both conventional and high-end housing. SGT provides consulting services to building owners/operators tailored to reducing cost and optimizing building operation and control.Since 2002, SGT has been involved with multi-building WER systems utilizing GSHPs and borehole thermal storage mated with conventional and renewable technologies. These systems are designed and operated with a goal to reduce energy consumption, demand, and operating costs.
