I'm an aircraft enthusiast. Got my first job working at an air charter service sweeping the floor & cleaning engine parts. That job lasted to the 2nd day when the owner figured out I was only 14, just tall for my age. Went in the NAVY at 17, by 19 I figured out the Vietnam War was wrong and gave up two ship drive system engineer schools, nuclear power school & officer candidate school to follow my personal integrity & morality convictions and declared myself a Conscientious Objector while still serving Honorably. Was promoted to Petty Officer 3rd Class and offered 2nd Class immediately with 1st Class guaranteed in 1 year for re-enlisting.  Declined. Used my GI Bill benefits & Federal Work Study program to do college. Worked as a tutor & instructor in the Math Department until hired out of college by McDonnell Douglas. They soon figured out I could actually fix problems. Within ten years promoted through ranks to position of Lead Engineer in Tool Engineering. Worked on Space Shuttle, F-4 Phantom Wild Weasel, F-15E Strike Eagle, F/A-18A-D Hornet, extensively on AV8B Harrier & AH-64 Apache Longbow. Have +10,000 hrs. Unigraphics 3D CAD, earned 2 Presidents Awards, the highest corporate Quality award, 2 major Inter-Departmental awards, an aircraft on a plaque award, plus numerous departmental awards, Moved at company request & expense to be tool dept. manager at Apache helicopter manufacturing  facility in Arizona in 1990 until retiring after 27 years service in Jan. 2007. Started my own manufacturing company in 2000, Eyermann Design Studio (www.iDes2.com) and in 2011 I engaged with The Living Earth Ecological Institute. (www.LivingEarthInstitute.org). I am currently also developing alternative enclosed bicycle, tricycle & motorcycle components based electric vehicles. (www.ERV1.com) You & I do NOT need a +3000lb vehicle to do local errands and commute to work. Save literally thousands of dollars a year driving electric vehicles.
