Philip Scarbro has developed and managed programs to help customers of electric and gas utilities use energy more efficiently for the past 30 years. As vice president of the nonprofit organization Energy Federation, Inc., he is overseeing expansion of EFI's online initiatives as a means of accelerating adoption of energy efficient technologies, facilitating development of the organization's sustainability plan, and working with a subcommittee on EFI's Board of Directors to review mission-related grant requests. He has previously worked as program director with People's Energy Resource Cooperative and as a research assistant with Abt Associates. Mr. Scarbro holds a Bachelors degree in Sociology from Northeastern University (1982), and Masters degree in International Development and Social Change from Clark University (1992).
