Member Profile
Recently completed my B.S. in Integrated Science and Technology at James Madison University in Virginia. I am continuing my education at the University of Southern California to acquire my M.S. in Green Technologies as apart of their Vterbi School of Engineering. My undergrad research included fabrication of plant microbial fuel-cells to generate small amounts of electricity. I have also completed several sustainable-oriented projects at a resort in Costa Rica. Energy monitors, such as a TED and eMonitor, were installed to record electrical consumption rates for various buildings. I designed, fabricated, and installed a 120 W photovoltaic (PV) system to light the resort's butterfly garden. Due to the small nature of the project it is intended to be used as more of an educational tool for guests and employees.
