I am codirector of Biofuelwatch. I have a PhD in biology from the University of Michigan. I spent many years as a field biologist working around the world on various zoological projects. I spent many years working in marine mammal biology and wrote a book (To Touch A Wild Dolphin).  I am the daughter of a founder of the Environmental Defense Fund and spent my childhood surrounded by environmentalists and hearing their discussions.  I have worked as a grassroots organizer, in Congress, at the UN - wherever I consider potentially effective for making change.  Protection of biodiversity is my fundamental priority
