Tiffany Chow is a Senior Grids and Markets Expert at 3E, a Belgium-based international renewable energy company. She has over seven years of international power markets experience, having worked for a national market operator, government and consultancies, in Australia, North America and Europe.

Recently, Tiffany was a Principal Regulatory Analyst for the Australian Energy Market Operator in Melbourne, where she worked in the Office of the Chief Executive Officer and the Regulatory Policy division. At AEMO, Tiffany led and/or supported projects related to the economic planning of networks, customer valuation of network reliability, network connection contestability, long term retail market development, international market trends monitoring, and the company’s updated corporate strategy.

Previously, Tiffany worked for the Ministry of Energy in Ontario, Canada on the design and implementation of North America’s first Feed-In-Tariff program. She also worked in the Deputy Minister’s Office on energy security issues and the advancement of new energy technologies. Tiffany started her career working for Deloitte Canada as a Corporate Strategy consultant.

Tiffany holds a Master’s degree in Engineering and Sustainable Development from Cambridge University where she completed a thesis critiquing the UK’s capacity market design. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering specialising in Operations Research from the University of Toronto.
