Geeta left her cozy director level job in large financial services in 2007 in Washington DC to start her clean energy venture. She built a global clean energy hub called Energy Guru to create an ecosystem of clean energy players. Energy Guru team assisted hundreds of MW of customers with advisory services. Later in 2011, she started her Concentrating Solar product venture to help industries displace fossil fuel using Solar Heat. She designed the product and started a factory in Pune, India. Energy Guru successfully launched the product in the industrial process heating market to displace fossil fuel using Solar Heat.
