Nicole is currently a civil engineering PhD candidate at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her research focuses on energy-water-environment sustainability with particular emphasis on integrating food and infrastructure networks to promote food security and mitigate climate shocks. She is formerly served as a physical science trainee with the US Environmental Protection Agency's Land Remediation and Pollution Control Division within the National Risk Management Research Laboratory. Nicole is excited to be a part of the Climate CoLab team for another year.
