Chun Zhang is Assistant Professor in School of Architecture and Design, Beijing Jiaotong University. She is also Research Fellow in Peking University-Lincoln Institute Center for Urban Development and Land Policy, Peking University. Her research interests focus on urban planning, urban form and air quality, job-housing balance and accessibility and neighborhood changes. She teaches classes including Introduction to Urban Planning, GIS. Her current publication includes Change and Regeneration of Community Urban Form, Sustainable City, Mitigation and Urban Planning et al. Chun received her doctoral degree in human geography from Peking University, and participated a collaborative training phd program in University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She received her bachelor’s degree in both urban planning and economics from Peking University. At PKU, she served in the graduate student union of China Youth Geographers and was recognized as Vice President in 2007-2008. At UNC-Chapel Hill, she served in Sunny Dance Group in Raleigh and received the champion of International Friends Talent show from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2010. While in graduate school she completed a Scholarship Awards from Lincoln Institute of Land Policy and Committee of 100, working with students, faculty and community groups to promote the academic interaction between China and the U.S.
