I am the New England Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program Manager of the NECEC Institute. I have an extensive track record of building and supporting innovation communities through far-reaching partnership development and strategic communication. I joined the NECEC Institute in January 2012 with experience as a business owner and policy analyst and many years of expertise in the clean energy industry. Prior to this position I was the Principal of Cork Tree Consulting, an energy and climate policy consulting firm in Durango, Colorado, where I worked in the areas of regional energy policy, clean energy pricing, demand side management, climate change adaptation, and clean energy program evaluation. I have a Master’s Degree in Public Affairs from the La Follette School of Public Affairs at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and a certificate in Energy Analysis and Policy from the Gaylord Nelson School for Environmental Studies, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy from St. John’s College. I served on the STAR Community Index Energy and Climate Technical Advisory Committee and as the chair of the Smart Energy Committee of the Sustainability Alliance of Southwest Colorado.
