Since 2012 Gilbert Curtessi is active as Business Development Director at EnergyTransformers (ET). ET is a spinoff company of Transmare Holding BV, a 60 year old Rotterdam company in the plastics and chemical industry. Before ET / Transmare Gilvert was active for Port of Rotterdam, Happy Shrimp, Green and Blue as a Eco-industrial developer. Gilbert's current activities are developing mobile biomass factories in Asia and the Middle East and the development and production Hybrid solid biofuel. With a treatment process (slow torrefaction) the raw material energy density is improved. At various plantations and ports in Asia, activities are developed to optimize the management of the value chain for sustainable high grade biomass. In his definition, Business Development means being creative, taking responsibility and being able to connect people in teams and technology and products.
