Judges'' comments
The Judges thought that this was an interesting proposal.
It was noted that the infrastructure costs could be very high for this project, especially in larger cities, and many of the benefits of the technology would require a large network.
The proposal could be strengthened by more information on how the tunnels could be routed in urban environments, and on the cart design. Estimates of the environmental benefit would also be helpful, compared to existing transport.
