Judges'' comments


While the Judges believed this technology to hold some promise, they also felt that the proposal did not sufficiently address the early warning and action emphases of the Anticipating Climate Hazards contest. They also felt the cost-benefit analysis should be further developed, especially because of the target on urban authorities and the private sector.

The Judges felt this proposal may be more suitable to a future contest the A2R Initiative intends to run in collaboration with Climate CoLab on the "Reshape" pillar of the A2R initiative (www.a2rinitiative.org)
