Thank you for your proposal!
We felt that you have proposed a good plan that should be scaled to recycle nutrients in the soil. We liked how you avoided fertilizer, which might be an additional GHG benefit. While the proposal suggests you have addressed the transportation issue, there is neither the cost associated with waste pickup and transfer to the outlying farm, nor are there costs associated with managing the farm. You have indicated initial capital is required to start the project before attaining self-sufficiency, but you have not indicated how much capital is required. Food waste reduction through composting isn't a novel idea but likely one that will help with overall carbon emissions. We wish you luck in your endeavor.

Thank you for your sound proposal for the Climate Colab conest!
Food waste reduction is increasingly garnering the attention it deserves internationally which could help shore up this initiative.
Have you considered including vermicomposting at your farm? Such a process turns waste into protein very quickly. Also, please consider incorporating into your proposal vermicomposting for animal feed, after which the remainder can be vermicast composted etc. Biochar as a foundation for the composting process can aslo be considered.
Best of luck for the next level!
