I really like your idea - an internet-driven democracy. To make this proposal a stronger contender, I would flush out the actions linked to the initial innovative idea: - Find out how much it costs to make and maintain a website - Propose an advertisement campaign on how the website would be publicized and gain momentum - Include a few references potentially to the corporate aspect of Facebook and other similar social media platforms, and include numbers on how much is being made, and how much could be directed in another direction via this website (in a voted direction!) Keep up the good work!

Hello William, Thanks for your proposal to the Climate CoLab. I'm one of the catalysts, helping provide comments and feedback, in an effort to help strengthen proposals. Thank you for sharing your proposal for a crowd-sourced democratic social media collective. A few brief suggestions to help strengthen your proposal: A) Ensure that your description is clearly linked to the subject of climate change, and, specifically, on shifting attitudes and behaviors on climate change, as is the focus of this theme. B) You might expand on how you believe a collective-run social media site would be more effective in achieving this end, than could other existing social media forums. In addition to privacy protections, what additional services/features w/could this site offer? C) I agree with the comments above; you may wish to source costs for website design to launch, and consider how this site would be marketed. Thanks for your contribution.
