What is the role of the Expert Council?

The Expert Council is a group of highly respected experts in various scientific and other fields related to climate change.

Their primary role is to help be sure that the best current scientific and other expert knowledge available in the world is reflected in the CoLab (see What do Expert Council members do?)

How is the Expert Council selected?

All Expert Council members have published research or made other professional contributions that are respected by others in their field.

They are selected by members of the Expert Advisory Board and other members of the Expert Council working with the CoLab project staff.

Some members of the Expert Council are very senior and respected members of their fields, others are more junior, but they are all viewed as leaders in their respective age groups.
