Hiba Dialdin is an engineering and business development consultant who has been with Saudi Aramco - the national energy company of Saudi Arabia - for 25 years.Most of her career has been in the process and control systems and in the oil upstream side of the company, specifically in reservoir simulation and production technologies research and also training and development. More recently, she worked on the strategic transformation of the company and is currently engaged in the in the international business development of the company's refining and marketing sector. Outside of the office, Hiba was the first female chairperson of the Society of Petroleum Engineers Saudi Arabia section, and served for three years as an elected director on the board of the Saudi Council of Engineers. Hiba is passionate about and active in women empowerment and development as well as poverty reduction. She graduated with honors from the University of Southern California with bachelor degrees in both Electrical and Biomedical Engineering. A mother of three, in her limited spare time Hiba likes reading, writing, exploring, staring out at the sea, and chocolate.
