I was born on 15 June 1972 and did my primary and secondary education in Kabwe, Zambia. I liked Mathematics and Sciences at School. I have studied Accounting and Entrepreneurship and have great passion of prospering together with smallholder farmers in Agribusiness since I liked Agricultural Science at Secondary Education. I am one of the 1000 entrepreneurs selected in 2015 by the Tony Elumelu Foundation (www.tonyelumelufoundation.org) from more than 20000 applicants in Africa for agribusiness innovation of creating guaranteed market of smallholder farmers in the rural to transform Africa. In April 2017, I am one of the 25 that was selected from Central and Southern African Countries by African Women in Agricultural Research and Development (AWARD) www.awardfellowship.org for innovation of considering gender in the agribusiness. I have the innovation of working with smallholder farmers to be growing crops throughout the year under irrigation using the solar water pump systems for irrigation so that they have increased income and stop cutting trees in the dry season for charcoal for sell by concentrating on agriculture as source of income. All we need are strategic partners to finance the programme to overcome hunger while also preserving the trees.
