Member Profile
I am a passionate advocate for environmental sustainability with more than 14 years of work experience with international organizations including the Organization of American States and the Pan-American Health Organization.
Between 2004 and 2016, I worked for the Department of Sustainable Development at the Organization of American States (OAS) supporting the implementation of initiatives that respond to the demands and needs of countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, with a significant impact on sustainable development and generation of clean energy. I also has spearheaded a regional energy literacy outreach strategy for the education sector with the goal of increasing the interest and knowledge of young students, and, ultimately, to motivate them to become tomorrow’s energy and environmental leaders.
I have a Master of Science on Environmental and Energy Management from George Washington University, a Renewable Energy Expert Certificate from the European Energy Centre and a certification as Project Management Professional. My work comprises project management, international cooperation, capacity building and education, particularly in emerging and developing economies.
