Saathi has developed 100% biodegradable & compostable pad made from banana fiber. Unlike wood pulp or cotton, banana fiber is an agricultural by-product, thus not requiring land usage. Furthermore, our pads are bleach-free and chemical-free. Not only does this feature minimize skin irritation, making our pads more comfortable and safer but it also ensures that no toxins are released into the environment upon disposal. Our pads degrade within 6 months of disposal, 1200 times faster than conventional pads. Saathi helps each woman who uses our pads to eliminate 60 kg of waste throughout her lifetime. Our goal is to create hygiene products good for the body, environment, and community.
