The Amazon Environmental Research Institute (IPAM) is a scientific, non-governmental and non-profit organization that since 1995 works for the sustainable development of the Amazon. Our objective is to consolidate the model of tropical Amazonian development, through the production of knowledge, the implementation of local initiatives and influence in public policies, so as to impact economic development, social equality and the preservation of the environment environment.
