Caltech graduate. Drove an electric car across the continent for the first time ever as part of the winning Caltech team in the 'Great Electric Car Race' in 1969. As CalCars' technical lead, led the team to accomplish the first conversion of a Prius to a plug-in hybrid, then put the instructions on the internet and had congress members and their staff drive several, in 2005, when the auto CEOs were called on the carpet for lack of innovation. Sold solar PV systems for a while. Helped engineer one of the first electrically propelled airplanes, a Cessna 172 conversion. Am now Chief Electrical Engineer at Brillouin Energy Corp, where we are working to commercialize LENR aka 'Cold Fusion'.
