Keith Moody has had a long and distinguished career in transportation. Keith's involvement with transportation began in the 1980's after attending Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, Oklahoma, he graduated from the Institute of Ministry, served in the U.S. Army @ Ft. Lewis, Washington...where he worked on the Cobra Attack Helicopter and then worked in the private sector with the tour bus industry.

After over 15 years of service at CATbus, Keith is now the Interim Transit Director/General Manager of Clemson Area Transit (CATbus), in Clemson, South Carolina, overseeing a model university/city transit system. Twenty-one years ago, CATbus, began offering fare free bus service to Clemson University & the City of Clemson. CATbus now serves 3 counties, 5 municipalities & 4 universities. CATbus operates 33 buses. CATbus also manages and operates the ONLY ALL Electric bus fleet of transit buses in the USA, which has been in full 100% electric operation since 2014. In 2015, we received multiple distinguished awards: Non-profit Business of the Year, Green Business of the Year - awarded by local Chambers of Commerce; and the Spare the Air Award by SCDHEC. CATbus was awarded a $3.9 Million Lo-No grant to change more Cities to All Electric. CATbus is committed to changing our entire fleet over to 100% electric. CATbus received a prestigious award from SC Clean Energy Business Alliance. CATbus has been the location that SCDOT & the FTA has referred other agencies to?.

Keith has supported transportation...as a First Steps, co-chair, in emergency preparedness (current subcommittee chair) and elected to the Clemson Chamber of Commerce Board, has spoke at several events in support of transit and the electrification of transit fleets, also spoke @ the 2017 APTA Expo Conference in Atlanta.

While at CATbus, the system has received many awards and recognitions, including invitations to China, Austria and Mexico...and has been visited by other cities, as far away as Paris, France.
