Emmy first became involved in the environmental movement when she co-founded the sustainability group at her college campus Northeastern University in Boston. She has a background in Sustainable Agriculture, working at a number of small-scale, organic farms in New England and California, and has earned her certificate in Permaculture Design. She has worked as a Green Building Consultant and currently works as Mechanical Engineer in Boulder designing building systems. She strives to enhance the efficiency of buildings, while improving indoor air quality and saving energy and water. Emmy is excited to be living in Longmont and working together to make this city a thriving and sustainable place for its citizens.
