Sandeep Theng is involved in business development of FSC India since May 2015, working towards establishment of FSC India Business development Plan.

Besides this he is involved with Indian Federation of Green Energy for special focus on Biomaterials/Forest resources. He also mentors social enterprises from forestry and agriculture sector for business development, Commercial Forestry, Product development, and value chain related community projects.

In past involved with (Donor/Brands/retailer funded) development and supply /value chain oriented projects of related to Wood/ Bamboo /Palm oil/ Paper n Pulp/Cotton in India, with strong focus on sustainable forest management, Community development-small holders, managing social issues and implementing traceability.

He also has experience in production and operations of Wood and Bamboo based manufacturing industries producing panel products and furniture.

Sandeep is a qualified forester with specialization in wood science and technology, with experience of 12 yrs in different forest based Industries, NGOs of national and international repute.
