Gaëlle Janvier has a multidisciplinary background that combines studies in design, urban planning, and international project management. She also has extensive practical experience in sustainable food systems and urban agriculture. Her efforts have been focused on promoting innovative citizen engagement strategies in the creation of green collective public spaces.
She has coordinated and contributed to food systems planning in a variety of African and Latin American countries. She has also been deeply involved in the creation of a urban agriculture policy in Montreal. Gaëlle is the co-founder of Lande, an ambassador for Restaurant Day in Montreal and co-director of EcoHackMTL. She is particularly hooked on everything that has to do with urban agriculture, public participation, and smart cities.
