Daniel Lea is executive director of the Cellulose Insulation Manufacturers Association, a position he has held since that organization was established in 1992. Prior to that he was administrator of the Cellulose Industry Standards Enforcement Program, predecessor organization of CIMA, serving in that position since 1984. He has also been communications director of the Urethane Foam Contractors Association and has held staff positions with the National Cold Storage Insulation Association, the Southwest Insulation Contractors Association, the Central States Insulation Contractors Association, and the Eastern Atlantic States Insulation Contractors Association. Lea is a member of ASTM Technical Committees C16 (Thermal Insulation) and E5 (Fire Standards), the Thermal Envelope Council of the National Institute of Building Sciences, and the International Code Council.  He serves on the ICC Industry Advisory Committee.
