Screenwriter and journalist Miranda Thompson co-founded KCET’s environmental blog “The Well Next Door,” where she reports on the spread of fracking in Southern California. She has written articles for various publications including Vogue, Elle, Town & Country and The Modern Review. Most recently she sold an original TV comedy pilot to CBS Television and the WB, and is currently working on an original feature film script for Disney. A former film executive, she has developed such films as the Oscar-winning Sideways for Summit Entertainment, the Emmy-winning The Life and Death of Peter Sellers for HBO Films, and the international blockbuster American Pie for Universal.
