My background is in engineering, and I have been following the climate change-related developments since 1993. From what I have learned over the years, I am convinced that the only feasible option to take meaningful and timely action to mitigate the worst effects of climate change and to buy some time for humanity to make the transition to an all-renewable energy system is for a worldwide switch to a plant-based diet, and carbon sequestration in the land freed from livestock operations.
