Hannah is a Project Manager at Linnean Solutions, a sustainability consulting firm in Cambridge, MA. She has over four years of experience in urban sustainability planning and policy. Hannah focuses on integrated sustainability strategies and planning in the built environment. This work includes project assessment, management and implementation, as well as research and analysis into performance at the building, neighborhood and city scale.
Hannah was employed by the City of Boston in the Mayor’s Office of Energy, Environment and Open Space prior to starting graduate school. At the Office of Energy, Environment and Open Space she worked on multiple city sustainability initiatives including Greenovate Boston and the Climate Action Plan update.
Hannah is a recent graduate of UC Berkeley’s College of Environmental Design where she received her Master’s in City Planning. Her work looked at how traditional urban planning tools (zoning, land use policy, infrastructure systems) can be used to facilitate sustainable systems planning at the neighborhood or district scale. Hannah worked at the San Francisco Planning Department and Department of the Environment while at UC Berkeley. At the Planning and Environment Departments she facilitated the development of policies, programs and metrics for the establishment of sustainable districts throughout the city.
