Self-motivated trail blazer, pursuing new paradigms in the field of structuring and project financing in the Energy Sector. With more than 25 years of energy and banking experience including project finance, acquisition finance, structured finance and corporate finance. Over the past six years, provided consultancy services through a boutique investment firm specialized in the structuring and development of small to mid-size renewable energy projects in partnership with wind and solar developers. Provided such services in the structuring, development, and finance of a 25MW wind farm in rural Minnesota, which brought online one of the first Community Wind success stories in the region. Prior to the consultancy work, I was the Executive Vice President of Finance and Major Transactions at enXco, a large wind developer and US subsidiary of EDF, France's state-owned utility company. Joined enXco after six successful years as Vice President in the Structured Finance group at J.P. Morgan, with emphasis in the Energy Sector. Before J.P Morgan, worked for three years at Mobil Corporation, primarily running its UK financing operations. Hold an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a Master's of Science from MIT School of Mechanical Engineering. Earned my undergraduate degree, Ingeniero Mecánico (Summa Cum Laude), from Universidad Simon Bolivar in Caracas, Venezuela.
