born 22-11-1949 in Kerala, India. MSc PhD in Physics from M S University , Baroda, india. Joined Cochin University of Science and Technology ( CUSAT) , India as Lecturer in Physics, became Professor of Photonics in 1990. Super annuated in 2010. Continues as Professor Emeritus in CUSAT. more than 400 publications in Lasers, Photonics and Nonlinear Dynamics. produced 38 PhDs in the area of Photonics and related fields.
