I am atmospheric scientist, having trained and worked in the United Kingdom. My research interests are surface-atmosphere exchange, atmospheric chemistry and global change, with particular focus on atmospheric trace gases: In addition to understanding the chemical cycling and transport of trace gases in the atmosphere, I have worked on quantifying their emission and deposition surface fluxes. A motivating factor for my research has always been the potential adverse effect of pollutants on air quality, climate and the health of plants, ecosystems and human beings.
