Paula is a registered nurse from Cebu Normal University who crossed over to a different industry working as sales and marketing coordinator and freelance model and copywriter.

After surviving the Ormoc Tragedy of 1991, one of the worst floods in the Philippines, and the bullying during her childhood, she is now an active liberal changemaker who is currently living in Tacloban to help Football For Life. She contributes in increasing public interest about the cause, communicating with the media, assisting in the cultivation of potential within every child and expanding the opportunities for partnership with other organisations by representing F4L to the public in a positive way. Her aim is to help carry out positive social change that would allow children to dream beyond social injustices and protect the environment.

As a passionate SDI Advanced Adventure Diver, she represented the Philippines during the  Miss Scuba International 2013 pageant in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia on Dec. 20 where she placed 1st runner-up.

When she is not playing with the children during the football sessions, you can find her experimenting in the kitchen, prowling through blogs or taking random travels with other Couchsurfing members.
