I am a graduate student of chemical oceanography in the MIT-Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution Joint Program. My research focuses on the movement of organic carbon into the deeper ocean as a natural sink for atmospheric carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas. I care about climate change as a humanitarian issue, and am interested in learning more that we can do at the community level to respond to it. I hope that my research contributes to scientific understanding of it.
