My name is Chika Kuroda, representative of the team “Save the Baby”, just graduated from the school of Project Design (http://www.mpd.ac.jp).
The "Save the Baby" project was chosen as the finalist by Race for Resilience / Code for Resilience of the World Bank!
"Save the Baby" is a service of digitized Maternal and Child Health Handbook for developing countries. It’s a service to record health data using telephone line to suit for the communication environment of the developing countries.
This service is useful not only in daily life but also in time of disaster.
This project began as a part of Race for Resilience / Code for Resilience to create a "Global Data Commons for Baby Care Initiative" toward Universal Health Coverage (UHC).
Commitments of mothers for their babies by this digital service are expected to create “digitized wisdom” for well-being shared and refined by everyone.
It is a dream, but it is our mission for our common future!
Let’s act together for a better future.
