Karlie Cole has over ten years of international, national and local web design, development and training experience and recently won two HackforMN awards: one for a sustainability focused open data project that was a finalist in the MIT Climate Co-Lab Contest and the other for most persuasive visual presentation for a food system mapping project. Her adult son’s autism has lead her to research deeply how food is grown and processed and the health effects of our current food system. She is currently the Administrative Coordinator for the Minneapolis Bicycle Coalition and the Communications Coordinator for the Bikeways for Everyone Campaign. She is also helping to launch the Minnesota Food Council Network with the goal to pass legislation to establish a Minnesota Food Council.
