Mr. Wright is a seasoned technologist and business professional with in-depth hands-on experience from the development lab to the boardroom (40+ years).  Mr. Wright was instrumental in creating the broadband Internet services industry, helping transform cable television into advanced broadband services.  Mr. Wright is now focused on helping transform the U.S and global electric power sector towards a more sustainable posture through renewable energy. Mr. Wright also was a key contributor to the world’s first electronic point-of-sale and automated teller machine (ATM) systems, contributed to numerous standards committees (e.g. IEEE 802 LAN/MAN, SCTE, ISO, and ANSI) and the DOCSIS (cable modem) specification, and developed the first commercial token ring LAN system.  Mr. Wright holds a broadband architecture patent and registered trademark, has an energy system and business methodology patent pending for a unique renewable energy delivery system, and is in the process of filing electricity storage, wave/tidal generation, and other generation patents. 

Mr. Wright’s experience includes the  founding, development, and sale of a successful start-up company, working with U.S. Congress and industry lobby groups, designing industry trade-show themes and technical infrastructure, raising private and public investment capital, acquisitions and mergers, and serving as Chief Technology Officer for private and public companies.  Mr. Wright has also provided more than two decades of professional technology and management consulting to several Fortune 100 companies. In addition, Mr. Wright served on Advisory Boards for the Georgia Tech Broadband Institute (GTBI), Broadband Home Corporation, Broadband Access Systems (ADC), Sentosa Software, Fortress Technologies, and Channelogics.  Mr. Wright studied computer science and engineering at University of Dayton, and attended value chain analysis courses and negotiation workshops at Harvard.
