Interesting project both in terms of pertinence and in terms of content and proposed actions - there is no question that good management of coastal infrastructures is key in reducing disaster risks in BanglaDesh - but it falls short in terms of feasibility: there is no real proof that the proponents have the experience, the skills and the connection with local communities to identify 300 "local conservation leaders" and embark them, nor convincing theory of change.

Please expand on what web-based vegetation monitoring system would entail. How will the project deal with buy-in and incentivizing farmers to adopt certain practices? Is there a forum or steering group to bring the project together?
The project needs strengthening in terms of: - identification of intervention area and target beneficiaries/ surface to be covered - duration of 2 years seems very short for a restoration project - how the team could scale up the practices: the project needs a proper buying and engagement of local actors for long term sustainability.
This proposal applies a variety of natural interventions for a combined goal of increasing resilience and because of the localised and context-specific approach is feasible. The project budget exceeds this grant, how will the project team secure additional funding? Are there any potential barriers to communities taking up the project? This could include loss of land for other purposes, too much care needed for plants or any other competing benefits to not having the approach implemented?
