Pitch

With the help of a simple calculation example I would like to point out a possibility with which people could create a financial basis.

Description

Summary

The "33" stands figurative for 33 cents per day or $ 10 a month. By participating in this competition, I would like to highlight an option whereby people who have the resources can use a relatively small amount to actively and directly participate in key challenges such reshaping development pathways in LDCs. This participation can be done locally, regionally or globally. The persons appropriate could achieve a lot deal in a very simplified way for themselves or for others who do not have the financial means. I do not think that there is a lack of ideas enough to be able to develop appropriate solutions to the challenges of our time. But in the end, implementation depends essentially on the respective finance viability. The old peasant wisdom "A clever head does not still make a full stomach" is unfortunately often true. Instead of an individual solution for this competition, I would therefore like to show a mathematical approach for a basic financing. Whit which in very simplified and understandable way a successful reshaping development pathways LDCs can be supported. And as a result, many people could become financially independent. This proposal can be used individually, flexibly level. a problem faced by people living in less developed communities and countries is that they are often forced to do something wrong in their misery (such as cutting down forests), even though they know that what they are doing is damaging to themselves or others. But for lack of a real alternative, they are often forced to do something wrong to ensure survival for themselves and their families. Therefore, instead of a single solution, I would like to present a very simplified and understandable solution that should help to solve important challenges.

optionales calculation example:

33 Cent/day ($ 10/mon) x 1000000 people x 12 months = $ 120.000.000/year

Is this proposal for a practice or a project?

Project

What actions do you propose?

The basic approach to working out my idea"33" came from the 2008 global financial crisis, with the aim of finding a theoretical solution that would allow people to develop a means of to secure their money independently of general financial systems and its institutions. The motto of this time "We are the 99%" served as an orientation for me to reach this goal. The result of my reflections describing the idea"33" is oriented in the process less by the pyramidal structure of an institution or movement that usually grows from top to bottom. My idea describes as a basic structure a circle. With the help of this structure, the persons involved can take part by voting directly and equal rights. In my idea, any number of people with similar interests and goals would voluntarily deposit any amount of money they set themselves for themselves into a common account. In what form they use these funds whether for social affairs, commercial or both is left to the people involved themselves. A suggestion of me would be to set up a common website on which anyone can inform even about anything important. There, constructive comments could be made or opportunities for participation could be offered. The funds provided would optionally be invested for one year and then decided by common vote how these funds would be used most effectively. The greatest possible transparency would be decisive for a successful realization of my Idea. The key innovations are the simplicity, the comprehensibility and the universal such as worldwide applicability. Virtually every person in the world, along with others, can build and use a financial basis based on this idea. It can be used on a small local as well as on a large international level. Social and commercial projects could receive financial support in this way. Every project needs funding and it is at this point that my idea"33" sets in to receive as independent a source of money as possible. Thus, large amounts of financial resources can be provided for a common purpose and the risk for the individual remains relatively manageable. I once saw a report about an African who lived and studied in Germany for some time. With the knowledge he had learned in Germany, he wanted to build up a simple transnational railway network in Africa. Wherever he presented his idea he was received very positively and benevolently. But when it came to the expected cost of his planned project, the final decision to implement it was negative.

Who will take these actions?

In principle, anyone who wants to participate in this idea can participate in it. The goal of my idea is to get as many people as possible to make a relatively small voluntary contribution averaging 33 cents a day. Most people who are able to make such a voluntary contribution are likely to be in the US and in Europe. The people who want to use my idea would have a common financial basis to help them with important challenges such as restoring degraded landscapes or helping countries to become more climate resilient. Since my suggestion is in the idea phase, there are currently no people who use my solution, at least not based on my idea. With a positive assessment and support from appropriate individuals or organizations, this can certainly change very quickly to the positive. Basically I go from a total of 3 billion people who are potentially to be able to provide a certain amount of money for a common purpose and all this voluntarily.

I see my role in it to introduce my idea to competitions like this, ideally to win important organizations or initiatives to help me reach many people with my idea. But the actual practical implementation of my idea would have to be taken over by people or companies themselves. My personal contribution would be to contribute at least 33 cents a day to a common cause.

Where will these actions be taken?

For a successful conception and implementation of an idea, it makes sense to take appropriate measures in places where probably the most potential interested parties live for my idea. For me, these are especially the Americans and the Europeans who are able to make a voluntary and self-determined financial contribution. Where and in what form these funds are then used decide the persons or companies involved. I see a worthwhile investment in the Maghreb states, especially in Algeria. There could be new economic and cultivated areas, also wind and sun offer good opportunities for zero-emission power generation.

In addition, specify the country or countries where these actions will be taken.

United States

Country 2

Germany

Country 3

France

Country 4

United Kingdom

Country 5

Algeria

Impact/Benefits

What impact will these actions have on greenhouse gas emissions and/or adapting to climate change?

Since my idea is a project, the first step, with the help of competitions such as these, is to find an appropriate framework and potential prospects for publication. If this succeeds, my idea could be established globally and used for appropriate purposes or measures such as reducing greenhouse gas emissions. There are certainly many good ideas and well educated people able to provide adequate solutions to key challenges of our time. But often ideas on this topic are not realized without appropriate financial support. I can not give precise details of possible impacts, but I am convinced that based on my idea, many people around the world would be able to take action that would have a positive impact on greenhouse gas emissions and climate change impacts. It is certainly worth supporting my idea.

What are other key benefits?

I think that possible application examples for US society could best show the important benefits of my idea and could be used as inspiration for many other important issues.

An application example for a private primary care in the US:

If 100 million US citizens were to spend 33 cents a day on a common account for a private primary care, that would be around $ 12 billion a year. If, as a positive consequence from that, 200 million US citizens persuade them to spend US $ 1 per day on a common private primary health care, that would be US $ 73 billion a year. In which form this example would be implemented decide the involved US citizens. This example could also be used in a similar way for other important areas such as a private pension scheme, the promotion of social projects, the expansion of school or college Training programs etc. in the US.

Support example for environmental and climate protection in the USA:

If 100 million US Americans were to provide 33 cents a day for privately funded environmental protection in the US, US $ 12 billion a year could be earmarked for key US environmental and climate projects. Corresponding institutes, organizations, NGOs, etc. could provide these funds in the USA use for practical implementation.

An application example for the women`s movements in the USA:

Important movements and initiatives such as the women`s movement could use my idea for themselves in order to better reach self-imposed goals. If 100 million women in the United States would deposit $ 1 per day for a common cause into a common account, that would be 36.5 billion a year.

a commercial application of my idea for the US economy

The US economy could use my idea to create its own independent economic stimulus program to be better positioned in the future. For example, if some 10 millions businesses, institutional investors, private investors, and so on in the US were would to invest an average of $ 100,000 a year in a common fund, that`s $ 1 trillion. With this huge sum, it would certainly be possible in the US to respond appropriately to various challenges such as climatic changes, general global influences, an changing society or environment, and so on.

Costs/Challenges

What are the proposal’s projected costs?

Of course, to develop my idea and get enough attention, it requires professional support, which causes the corresponding costs. Participation in this competition would be the first step in corresponding financial resources from potential lenders.

Engaging a professional team that would present my idea in US and Europa at relevant events requires about US $ 750,000 to $ 800,000 per year. Financing should be secured through a loan, which can then be counter-financed through the common fund created. Overall, I estimate the cost of a successful worldwide presentation and establishment of my idea at 4.5 to 5 million US dollars.

The biggest challenge of my idea is finding suitable lenders that are necessary for a successful presentation and establishment.

How high the individual contribution would be in a realization depends on the persons or companies involved. For my idea I have planned with 33 cents per day for single persons.

Timeline

The time for a professional presentation and establishment of my idea I estimate for 2 to 3 years. From then on, it should be possible for people in the field to actively use my idea for their own purposes, and to access the financial resources made available.

scheduled timeline:

from the first year

- to find a way for a representative publication

- find lenders to pre-finance

- engage professional and competent team

- organize and hold appropriate events on the subject idea"33" in the US and Europe

- at these events, as many people as possible should be encouraged to sign "MoU" to get an overview of the willingness how many people want to participate in it

- take stock after about a year

- register a business structure (e.g. foundation, organization, etc.) to become fit for business

- create an account for the persons involved

- set up a website so people or organizations around the word can apply for financial support

- seek collaboration with relevant initiatives or organizations worldwide

after about 2 to 3 years

- organize and forward the financial means made available for disbursement

About the author(s)

My name is Attila Deutsch and I am German, my motivation to participate in this contest is the ability to be able to provide at least 33 cents a day for a common cause. I hope, with the help of this competition, to get as many people as possible to contribute a relatively small amount of money to a common cause.
