The Judges thought that this was an interesting proposal.
It was noted by the Judges however that for the technology to be trialled, significant Infrastructure changes would be required and this would be a disincentive for the project.
The proposal would be strengthened with more detailed information on how the technology would work, and what the technological challenges would be. Gondola transport is used in very limited applications today; consideration for why this technology is currently used, and what technological hurdles would have to be overcome to see it more widely implemented as suggested?
The proposal would also be strengthened by estimates of environmental benefit, with details of how these estimates were derived.
