This sounds like a lot of fun. Almost like a mixture between geocaching and Pokemon GO. It's educational and entertaining. I think it would be a good idea, in order to get people to join, to explain how reducing their carbon emissions by participating will help them financially. Also, I would like to see a more developed timeline.
I'm not convinced the scavenger hunt would be adopted by the number of participants suggested in the proposal. It is challenging to motivate people to take on this type of adventure without strong partnerships or incentives, and I wasn't impressed by the range of partners that were included. I also didn't see any detail around the costs associated with creating the project.
While coupons/discounts from contributing businesses may incentivize app usage from a consumer perspective, the barrier to participation is high when the primary goal is to encourage physical visits to power stations and residences.
